Guigal Condrieu 2008, France

Guigal Condrieu 2008, France
This wine I found very interesting, you can feel there the spirit and greatness of OldWorld. I tasted pure NewWorld viognier before. Wine was fresh, drinkable, with hints of whyte fruits, but Condrieu is different.
Restrained, maybe majestic. Aromas of hay, dry whyte grass and nuts make it unforgetable. Pale yellow color with green tips. Medium body, medium level of acidity. In mouth, it is very good balanced, complexed wine.
Total: This is wine not for every day. When I was drinking it, I remember landscapes of Normandy by Guy de Maupassant.
